Pssst...Did you know the best way to kick those January winter blues is to head to Park City, Utah for the annual Sundance Film Festival?! 

Sundance, founded by actor Robert Redford in 1981with merely a handful of colleagues, has transformed over the years into the ultimate "See & Be Seen" Winter destination for indie film newcomers and industry giants, actors, celebrities, and socialites alike. The charming and typically low-key ski town is overtaken by the industry this time each year for a week of screenings, skiing, parties... and Style Lounges filled with free swag including the latest jewelry and fashion labels. Here at Laura James Jewelry we live for the eclectic trends spotted at the festival which run the gamut from Street-Savvy to Chalet Chic. 

This year the Jewelry Trends for the 2012 Sundance Film Festival ranged from chic stud earrings, layered gold charm necklaces, and stacked bangles to  tribal inspired statement necklaces like this bold design on actress Kristen Bell: 

Fashion standouts included trend-setter Kirsten Dunst, a red-lipped Kate Bosworth, and the ever-androgynous Rashida Jones. Though fur-lined boots, vests, jackets and gloves were de rigueur on the slopes and streets, the favored shade when the sun went down was...black, of course.
