Award season 2012 officially kicked off with last night's 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards on NBC! Every award season brings the glitz and glam of the red carpet and last night proved to be no exception.  Hollywood's leading ladies of both the small and silver screen stepped out in true style; making their presence known on the red carpet; wearing dresses in shades ranging from neutrals to darks, others opting for the current color blocking trend, while some even dared to don red on the red carpet. 

Standout looks we loved were the neutral dresses, especially those of with a hint of glitz, as well as the deep dark navys and jet blacks mixed with white. Yet overall, the clear winners of the night were anything in a pale pink, like Charlize Theron in Dior; pops of color, like the red panel atop Angelina Jolie's metallic cream Atelier Versace dress; and all the ladies in dresses the deepest shades of blue (but enough about dresses as our true love is always the jewelry that completes each and every one of these looks!).
