Hollywood's leading ladies stepped out at last night's 84th Annual Academy Awards adorned head to toe in stunning looks... from the Whitest Whites (Gwyneth & Rooney Mara) to the Brightest Brights-Red/Persimmon (Michelle Williams). Lucky for us, the jewelry certainly didn't disappoint this year. So let's get right to our favorite part of this post...the jewels!
Jaw-dropping Statement Earrings were spotted on Busy Phillips (Michelle's VBFF) with Meryl, J. Lo, and Jessica Chastain following the lead on a smaller scale. If the 2012 trends follow what we saw on the Red Carpet last night, clearly The Earring has most definitely made its return to the fashion forefront, elbowing its way in front of the Statement Necklace at last.
