LA Stylist Mom.com

August 2, 2010 * www.lastylistmom.com

I first fell in love with Laura James Jewelry and its chic simplicity when I saw her Oval Tag Vintage Necklace on the Max and Chloe website. You can imagine how thrilled I was when she graciously contacted me with thanks for accolades made in a mention on L.A. Stylist Mom, and little did she know that It. Was. On. I was happier still to discover her website, dedicated solely to showcasing both her modern and vintage styles, appropriately entitled Laura James Jewelry (go figure)...While perusing her website, I’ve found that not only is the clean elegance that first drew me to her pieces firmly in tact, but that a modern-vintage, ‘Valley of the Dolls-esque’ feel has since emerged, through use of stones like Tiger’s Eye, Moonstone and Amber (retro-60′s love anyone?) With both ‘Vintage’ and ‘Contemporary’ categories to choose from, James further employs techniques like stamping and carving to achieve a uniquely glamorous feel that I’m clearly digging – you can be too!
